Mexico City Historic Center Tour
9:00 A.M.: Begin the day with a walk to Mexico City’s famous ‘Zocalo’ - the main square in the historic center. From there, you will visit the most important sites in the neighborhood! Admire Diego Rivera’s murals at the Palacio Nacional, explore the metropolitan Cathedral and visit the emblematic Bellas Artes building. (~2.5 hours)

1:00 P.M.: Experience the hustle and bustle of the city with a visit to a local market. The markets in Mexico City are filled with family-owned stands, local flavors, and intricate crafts. You will stop at the best stands to try some must-have dishes! (~2 hours)

Then, get ready to explore the Museo Nacional de Antropología, the largest museum in the country, and the most visited. You will find a fantastic collection of archeological and anthropological artifacts and information on the cultures which formed this stunning country. It is near the areas of Polanco, Condesa, and Roma, three neighborhoods that boast some of the city’s best restaurants, shopping, and nightlife! Note: Start time is to be determined by your guide. 8:30 A.M.: You'll head to the neighborhood of Coyoacán, one of the oldest in the city! Here, you will visit Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, one of the most treasured memories of the famous artist. Discover a more intimate view of Frida Kahlo’s art, before walking around Coyoacán’s beautiful center. Here, there are many cafés, shops, and unique craft markets! (~3 hours)

Buenos días! After breakfast, you’ll board a quick flight to the city of Oaxaca! Oaxaca is treasured for its cuisine and folk art, and you will quickly understand why once you arrive. Enjoy a quick orientation walk guided by your tour guide to begin discovering this city’s secrets. In the evening, you’ll indulge in a delicious Oaxacan dinner at a local restaurant.

1:30 P.M.: What better way to experience Oaxaca than with a cooking class? Visit a local market to find fresh, local ingredients, and then get in the kitchen to start prepping a Oaxacan dish! Your chef will guide you as you learn to make some of the most emblematic Oaxacan dishes. You’ll also learn how to make some Mexican culinary staples, like tortillas, salsas, and Aguas Frescas (fresh fruit water). (~5 hours)
