Today you will visit the vast ancient burial grounds of Saqqara to explore the outer pyramids and the Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest known step pyramid. This will be followed by a visit to the first capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, Memphis. In the evening, you will board the 1st class sleeper train and journey to the Nubian city of Aswan.

Today you will do a half day tour of Luxor's West Bank, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. For lunch, you will join a local family for a home cooked Egyptian meal and in the afternoon, board a traditional felluca and sail to Banana Island.

Visit the Valley of the Kings, a spectacular royal burial site of the pharaohs, where 60 richly decorated tombs are buried under the arid hills.
Tour the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru.
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty. They have stood in the Theban Necropolis since 1350 BCE.
In the afternoon, join a local family for lunch and enjoy some traditional Egyptian home cooking.

Today you will fly back to Cairo. On arrival you will experience the local life at the Khan Al-Khalili Bazaar. In the evening you will join the group for a farewell dinner.
