Arrive in Calgary and take your group transfer into Banff National Park and your campsite near Lake Louise.

Today we head to a less explored and stunning area of Banff National Park. Starting on the shores of Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, we’ll hike through the Larch valley to reach Sentinel Pass on the shoulder of Mt Temple. From here we can descend on the other side of the pass reaching Paradise Valley to complete a loop trail taking us back to Moraine Lake road, or return the way we came. Either option we choose will be the right one, as we’ll be surrounded by beauty.

We’ll push west today to reach Yoho National Park. Yoho is a Cree expression meaning amazement and wonder, and with its massive ice fields, impressive waterfalls and jade green lakes, Yoho is a special place with an incredible density of must-sees. After our day in the park, we’ll return to our campground near Lake Louise to relax and gaze at the mountains we’ve just explored while enjoying our dinner.

APPROX. 1 HOUR
This morning we tackle one of Yoho’s signature treks: the Iceline Trail. The trail starts next to the majestic Takakkaw Falls, the 2nd highest in Canada. Taking us up the east side of the President’s range this hike offers incredible views of the falls, of the Waputik Icefield and the Daly Glacier to the east. After reaching a plateau near Yoho pass we’ll have a few different options for the return route. We can choose to do the complete loop through the Little Yoho Valley or shave off a few miles by cutting through Celeste Lake. Elevation: 3000ft gain / Distance: 7.5 miles or 12.5 miles / Duration: 6 hours or 8 hours / Difficulty: Moderate or Advanced

Today we drive north along the Icefield Parkway, known as one of the most spectacular stretches of asphalt on earth. It meanders through the Rocky Mountains, passing by massive ice fields and over 100 glaciers. From the Num-Ti-Jah lodge on the shores of Bow Lake to the iconic Wolf head of Peyto Lake, we will make as many stops as needed to experience all the amazing sights this drive has to offer. Our highlight of the day is the 3-hour ice walk tour along Athabasca Glacier. Continuing onward, we'll make camp in Jasper and get a good night's sleep for our next day of adventure.

On this 3 hour ice walk tour we'll walk 3 miles on top of the glacier and see amazing sights. The experience of standing on the glacier and being able to view the countless cracks, streams and icy formations up close will be a highlight of the trip!

We've got a full day ahead of us to explore Jasper National Park, so make sure to fill up at breakfast! We'll start the morning with an easy hike through Maligne Canyon, then after lunch we'll head out on the Athabasca River for a mellow rafting session with incredible alpine views.

APPROX. 1 HOUR
Over the course of time, the Maligne River has cut deeply into the limestone layer, eroding a gorge that is only 6 feet wide and 150 feet deep. The trail follows along the top of the gorge, crossing at several points to give close views of the tumultuous waters raging in the canyon below. Elevation: 430 feet gain / Distance: 2.5 miles / Duration: 2 hours / Difficulty: Easy

APPROX. 2 HOURS
After the canyon rafters will enjoy wide open views as they paddle through the scenic Athabasca Valley. No prior rafting experience is needed for this mellow ride through calm, flowing stretches peppered with small but splashy rapids.

This morning we’ll drive the scenic Icefield Parkway back to Banff, where we’ll have time to explore the town, rest our feet and stock up on souvenirs. In late afternoon we’ll take a scenic cable car ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. From there we’ll enjoy an incredible farewell dinner surrounded by sweeping views and the full grandeur of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Ride the cable car up to 7,500 feet and take in the sweeping views as you enjoy your farewell dinner with the group.

All good things come to an end, and it's time to transfer back to Calgary and say goodbye for now to your new friends!
