Laguna de Los Tres Hike
You’ll cross the Del Salto Stream and its icy blue water surrounded by orange rocks that serve as a beautiful foreground of Mount Fitz Roy. The trail finishes at the ridge of the rocky De Los Tres Glacier - an enormous formation in the shape of an arch that holds the beautiful blue water with the best view of the lagoon and De Los Tres glacier. This is the closest and most extraordinary view of the granite wall of Mount Fitz Roy and the surrounding peaks. Distance: 16 miles / Duration: 8-9 hours / Difficulty: Moderate-difficult / Elevation Gain: 2,300 feet *All hikes are subject to change due to weather*

Arriving from the dense forests along the Rio Ascencio, you’ll ascend toward the base of Torres del Paine. Admire the dramatic views of glaciated mountains as you climb. Get a good grip, the trail becomes rocky as it winds around granite boulders toward a glacial tarn. A spectacular view of the Torres del Paine and the glacial tarn below awaits you at the top. Hang onto a buddy, the trail is a bit steep on the way down. Distance: 11 miles / Duration: 6-8 hours / Difficulty: Moderate / Elevation Gain: 3,000 feet

Highlights of Torres del Paine National Park Tour (by bus)
Our list of activities includes the Sofia Lagoon, the Prat mountain range, the Porteño Lake, the Mesa Hill, the Toro Lake, the Sierra del Toro, and the Sierra Ballena. Admire the beautiful landscapes that surround you and observe the horns of Paine from the road! Hike along the shores of Lake Grey, and if the conditions allow it, enjoy an incredible view of the Grey Peninsula. Break for lunch before heading towards the Salto Grande sector. You'll visit the viewpoint of Lake Nordenskjold, experience Laguna Amarga, discover the Paine waterfall, and see firsthand the milky glacier waters flowing through the Paine River to the Ultima Esperanza. Return to El Calafate after a long and glorious day in the park.

Perito Moreno Glacier Ice Trek (Optional)
On this excursion you will get to explore the glacier by boat and then ascend the ice yourself! The adventure begins with a boat ride along the towering facade of the glacier, followed by disembarking on the opposite shore. From there, you will walk along the lateral side until ascending over the ice. This moderate circuit on the ice will introduce you to the fascinating glacial landscape. Take in the most incredible shades of blue as you pass streams, small lagoons, crevasses and sculptural ice formations. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
