Lace up your hiking boots, this morning your Northern Thai adventure will take you on a hike through the mountain villages of Chiang Dao. Along with the staggering beauty of the mountainous jungle, you will embark on a cultural experience as you hike through the hill villages of the Karen and Lisu tribes.

Bua Tong Waterfall Climb
The hike continues onto Bua Tong Waterfall which translates to ‘Sticky Waterfall.’ Made of limestone and mineral deposits, the source of the waterfall is a calcium-rich spring that feeds into the rocks below. Over time, the deposits have given the rocks a grippy texture. From the base of the waterfall, you will be able to climb up the 3 tiers to the top.

This morning you will travel to Soppong for a whitewater rafting adventure. Return to Pai in the afternoon for some leisure time to relax.

The rafting adventure journeys through 28 miles of untouched jungle and winds its way through a wildlife sanctuary. The surrounding lush tropical forests are filled with 300+ bird species, and an abundance of animals such as the white-handed gibbon. The Class 4 rapids will take you past some beautiful scenery, pristine waterfalls and hidden caves and you’ll have an opportunity to catch your breath when you take a dip in a hot spring along the way.
