Today you join a local family and learn about Sri Lankan cuisine in a Sri Lankan Family Cooking Experience. Next you will head to Kandy for a tour and visit of the Temple of the Tooth
Hotel Breakfast
You will meet Sulochana, a local, who will guide you through Sri Lankan cuisine. She will first take you to the local market to buy ingredients and then head to the kitchen at the Thotupola Residence and learn how to create a tasty Sri Lankan curry.
Sri Lankan Family Cooking Experience
You’ll head to Kandy town for a visit to the local spice market. In Sri Lanka, spices are more than just an ingredient but also a glimpse into its complex history of trade, tradition, culture, and colonization. The Kandytown Market is where the locals shop and your local guide will lead the way. In the afternoon you’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth, a Buddhist temple and known as the ‘pride of Kandy.’
Overnight in Digana
Today you will go on a full day trekking tour to Knuckles mountain range.

Knuckles mountain range, a World Heritage Conservation Area, in many ways remains untouched. Enroute to the trailhead you’ll have breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, lakes and tea estates. The walk is a total of 18km which about 3km is on the 'World’s End,' a cliff’s edge with sweeping 360 views of the forest, streams, exotic birds flying above, and rare lizards scurrying around the grass. Distance: 11 miles / Duration: 6 hours / Difficulty: Moderate

Today you will take a road trip to Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. In the late afternoon, you will go on a Sunset Hike at Pidurangala Rock

In the afternoon you’ll arrive at Pidurangala for a short hike up the rock formation. Hike up to the top and be rewarded with sweeping views of the forest.
Overnight in Habarana
In the morning, you can explore the colors and sounds of Habarana on an optional village cycling tour. In the afternoon you'll go on an Elephant Safari to either Kaudulla or Minneriya National Parks, depending on herd movements. In the evening you will enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan BBQ dinner.
Pop on and helmet, hop on a bicycle and explore the lush green pathways and Sri Lankan countryside and into the colors and sounds of the local village of Habarana.

You will be observing elephants in their natural habitat so depending on herd movements the adventure will head either to Kaudulla or Minneriya National Parks. Apart from the jumbos, both Minneriya and Kaudulla parks often present sightings of bird-flocks such as painted storks, pelicans and little cormorants.
At the end of the safari ride you’ll freshen up and enjoy a Sri Lankan BBQ dinner with the group at the Eco Lodge.

Overnight in Habarana
Early in the morning drive to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. In the afternoon you’ll head to the coast for some beach vibes in Kalpitiya.

Sigiriya, the marvelous rock fortress also known as Lion Rock is a rare jewel among the many treasures in Sri Lanka. The site was the domain of King Kashyapa whose aim was to build an impregnable fortress on the outside and a heavenly abode inside.

Today is a beach day at leisure or you can hop on an optional dolphin watching boat tour.

Hop aboard a local boat and watch hundreds of friendly dolphins swim alongside you, jumping, dancing, and splashing around the gorgeous blue waters.
Overnight in Kalpitiya
Today you will road trip back to Colombo. Tonight you'll hit the town on a Behind the Scenes Walking Tour and Arrack Tastings

You’ll meet Rashan, Colombo’s resident ‘guy in the know’ for a ‘behind the scenes’ look at Colombo and its nightlife. He’ll introduce you to Arrack, the local liquor made of fermented flowers of the coconut tree which has been locally consumed for centuries.
