Bogotá's Paloquemao market is the second-largest market in the city and one of the most important in the country. Abundant with fresh vegetables, meat, fish and flowers, Paloquemao market offers great insight into the daily life of "Bogotanos". Sample some of the most exotic Colombian fruits and fresh produce available from more than 700 merchants trading at this market.

La Candelaria, one of the smallest areas in the capital, is the vibrant heart of Bogotá. This historic location is home to some of the most popular attractions in the city, including museums, art galleries and narrow streets lined with shops selling everything from jewelry to handcrafts and food. The magnificent architecture is seen in the old houses and churches, as well as the Palace of Justice and Colombian Congress. Your guide will explain the history and daily life of Bogota and Colombian culture. You’ll stop for refreshments in one of La Candelaria’s coffee houses.
Visit the famous Gold Museum, on the northeast corner of the Parque Santander. The museum, in the premises of the Banco de la Republica, has one of the finest collections of gold in the world. With more than 35,000 pieces of pre-Colombian gold in its collection, this is a ‘must see’ when visiting Bogotá. Many of the pieces are said to be unsurpassed by goldsmiths of today, with examples such as the Balsa Muisca (Offering boat). This golden raft is one of the focal points of the display and was the driving force behind the Spaniards quest to find El Dorado.
Visit multiple bars and clubs during the night with VIP entrance and no lines! Coffee is the heart and soul of the region and its culture. This journey will take you through breathtaking scenery, lush green coffee landscapes and the colorful plants that make up the tapestry of this enchanting area. As you watch the campesinos (local rural workers) in the fields and the children on their way to school, you get a sense of what daily life is like for rural Colombian people. Today you’ll explore the grounds, take unforgettable photographs and see the coffee traditions and processes that keeps Colombia and the world energized.

Manizales, one of the founding towns in the coffee-growing region of Colombia, still manages the coffee industry. Set on a mountain crest, the city has spectacular views of the valley below and the Nevado del Ruiz volcano. Your guide will share the history and culture of the region as you tour the viewpoints at Chipre and the heart of the historical area of the city, Plaza de Bolivar, whose first building dates back to 1539. The tour will continue to the El Cable district, site of the remaining tower of the old cable car network.

It's another day of adventure and exploration, with a tour to Salento colonial village and Cocora Valley.

This tour will take you from the town of Salento in northeast Quindío, to the lush green Valle Cocora, natural habitat of the magnificent 200 foot tall wax palms. Salento is a world-famous coffee district, known for its coffee estates and lush green scenery. Here you can take in the breathtaking views while you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee from the region, before continuing your drive to Cocora Valley. At the Salento meeting point, you’ll trek down into the valley, beside a trout farm that supplies most of the restaurants in the town. The hike follows a bridle path along the mountainside, revealing spectacular panoramic views of lush green landscapes and towering wax palms. The central cordillera of Los Nevados National Park is home to the wax palm, a protected species and national symbol of Colombia. Explore the walled city of Cartagena, established in 1533. The main entrance is the Puerta Del Reloj, or clock tower, situated in front of the triangular Plaza de los Coches, a vibrant, arcaded walkway lined with street vendors. Popular attractions within the city walls include, the Inquisition Palace, built in 1770, a museum of historical artifacts, and San Pedro Claver Cloister, a museum dedicated to the patron saint of enslaved people. The tree lined walkways of Plaza Bolivar, offers a place to relax and cool off on shaded benches, with soothing sounds of the fountains in the background.

Enjoy a leisurely day in Cartagena, with its cobbled streets, local shops and places of interest. Or take a taxi to the beautiful white sand beaches of Playa de Bocagrande, to soak up the sun and stroll along the palm-lined promenade to the beach restaurants or snack bars.
