Rise and shine to your first full day in Jordan! Your journey in Jordan begins at the capital, Amman, a contemporary and cosmopolitan city yet a place steeped in tradition and historical beauty.

Your guide will take you to the citadel and walk you through the ruins that sit at the highest hill of the city.

The journey through time continues as you’ll transfer out of the city and to the ancient ruins of Jerash. Jerash was once one of the grandest ancient Roman cities and today possesses some of the most impressive Greco-Roman ruins in the world.

At 1378 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth and because of the salinity and density of the water, there is no need to swim as your body will naturally float. The mud also has healing properties so why not cover yourself in natural, nutrient-rich, mineral mud for a bath?
Overnight in Amman
You will leave the city behind and head on a road trip to one of the most striking deserts in the world, Wadi Rum. At Wadi Rum, you will go on a jeep tour to explore the desert.

Once you arrive at the desert reserve of Wadi Rum, you will hop on a 4x4 and embark on a ½ day Desert Jeep Safari. Wadi Rum is full of weird and wonderful Martian-like rock formations, but with traces of ancient civilizations.

It is a full day in Wadi Rum desert where your guide will lead you on hike through the reserve.

Your hike will explore the vastness of the desert where you’ll admire bizarre rock formations, and enjoy the eeriness of the desert morning silence. You’ll scale a sand dune for extraordinary views of the valley where you will find that picture-perfect moment of the experience. Today, you will embark on a journey to explore the fabled Lost City of Petra. The great ancient city of Petra, a city carved into the stone cliffs, still remains half-hidden by sand and rocks.

To find this magical site, you will be guided through Al Siq, a mile-long narrow gorge of towering rocks that lead to the magnificent site. Your first glimpse through the path’s walls will be the treasury complex, an enormous and intricate building entrance hand-carved into the rock.
Overnight in Petra
Enjoy a free day of self-discovery as you explore Petra on your own. The site is surprisingly big, so it is advised to choose your own route around the complex with the help of your local guide.

You can explore the old Roman road, the rock-hewn amphitheater, or hike up an hour up the steps of the secluded monastery.
Overnight in Petra
Today you will travel on the ‘King’s Highway’ to Madaba. Along the way, you will stop at the crusader castle of Al Kerak and visit Mount Nebo, the site where Moses saw ‘the Promised Land' and also his possible burial site.

You will visit the crusader castle of Al Kerak, a castle that commandingly sits atop a cliff that overlooks Wadi Kerak and the Dead Sea.

You will continue to Mount Nebo, the site where Moses saw ‘the Promised Land' and also his possible burial site. In the afternoon you will arrive in the Byzantine and Ottoman influenced city of Madaba.
