After breakfast, you will transfer to Tokyo Station to catch the Shinkansen, also known as the Bullet Train to Yuzawa. Upon arrival, you’ll head to Gala Yuzawa, the only ski resort with its own Shinkansen station which allows you to hop off the train and head directly onto the slopes.

In the Japanese Alps, due to the lower altitude and abundance of trees from protected forest areas, resorts are naturally shielded from fierce winds and visibility is generally clear despite an average of 1-foot dumps per 7 days from late December to March.
