The Punta Espada Golf course is ranked among the world’s best golf courses. Home to the Dominican Republic PGA Tour event, the first 8 holes play beside the sea and from all points, golfers are treated to extraordinary views of lush greenery, waving palm trees and pure white beaches overlooking the beautiful Caribbean. After your morning on the course, enjoy a relaxed lunch in Punta Espada’s Bar and Restaurant which offers spectacular views of the 18th Green and turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Countryside Farm Tour
Return to the hotel to freshen up before setting off to see some of the countryside located in the Community of “El Cano” in Uvero Alto. This tour will take you to a typical house as well as various farms, where you can sample and learn about the production of their coffee, cacao, vanilla, papaya, sugar cane and more. You’ll also be shown the process and preparation of ‘Mamajuana’. This drink was initially concocted in the 1950s as an herbal medicine and is said to contain many proven health benefits. Mamajuana is made with rum, red wine and honey and the mixture is soaked over time in herbs and tree bark. Yum!

Punta Blanca Golf Club, par 72, with its bunkers and lakes as well as the challenging holes 13 and 15 both par 3, promises the player a stimulating round of golf.
