Your tour will begin at the Puerta Del Reloj, or clock tower, which is the main entrance to the walled city of Cartagena and venture into the Plaza de los Coches. Your guide will tell you all the myths and legends, histories and stories of Cartagena from ancient times right up to the present. During the walk, you will visit sites like the Inquisition Palace, San Pedro Claver Cloister and Plaza Bolivar.

Hop on the shuttle and head to Collage Charladero restaurant for an interactive cooking demonstration using fresh ingredients from a local market. The chef will help you create a menu based on traditional seasonal dishes, providing an insight into one of the country’s most exciting and vibrant culinary destinations.

Gain a deeper understanding of the alternative, cultural quarter and hippest barrio; Getsemani on this Cartagena street art and graffiti tour. The graffiti art, with their images of tropical scenes, palenqueras, and local flora and fauna, tell their own individual stories and will have you fascinated from the start.

The 2 hour tour will get you up close and personal with the heart of Cartagena, where the street sellers will fill your bellies with their delicacies and warm your hearts with their hospitality. Finish with a delicious cocktail in Café del Mar.
2 HOURS
During your ceviche workshop you will learn the different options available in the preparation of ceviche, which will be accompanied by patacones (fried plantains) or banana chips. Ceviche is a traditional Latin American dish made with fresh fish and other seafood, usually cured in citrus juice and mixed with cilantro, onion and other flavors. You will also learn how to prepare a maracuya (passion fruit) lemonade to surprise your friends at home. End the day with a delicious cocktail at Café del Mar.
6 HOURS
As you sail through the Bay of Cartagena, into the open sea and the Boca Chica strait, you’ll pass between the Colonial forts of Bateria de San Jose and Fuerte de San Fernando. In the 16th century, Cartagena was a major shipping hub for gold and silver from Peru, as a result the town became vulnerable to every pirate, bandit and foreign armada in the Caribbean. Spain’s King Felipe II, ordered the construction of these forts to protect the city’s vaults from unwanted visitors, anxious to relieve them of their treasures. Your trip on these turquoise waters will end at the Rosario Islands archipelago.

Take this opportunity to experience some new and exciting flavors and textures when you sample Colombia’s national liquor, rum. The most treasured loot of any pirate, this rum will conjure up images of the ancient world of buccaneers and their infamous history with Cartagena. After the tasting, an energetic dance lesson will have you on the floor, dancing the Salsa! Although dancing and music has always been a part of life in Colombia, it wasn’t until the 1940s that Salsa was born, influenced by music from Cuban radio stations. Salsa became the dance of Colombia, where its people could express themselves in a whole new way.
3 HOURS
On this adventure you will paddle the calm waters of Cartagena Bay from Playa Castillogrande and kayak approximately 2 miles offshore, to the white sand beaches of Punta Arena on the island of Tierra Bomba. At the turn of the century, an underwater barrier was built to keep the pirates out of the bay of Cartagena, this caused it to be a permanent low tide area. The waters are famous for being extremely calm and strikingly beautiful.
