Day 1

Welcome to the Kingdom of Cambodia! Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap. After settling in and freshening up, you will meet the group and receive a brief introduction to the real Siem Reap.

You’ll hop on board a Vespa scooter where you will have a back seat look into the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap nightlife and street food. You’ll cruise down ancient heritage back streets and along the riverside, as your guide introduces you to all aspects of Khmer cuisine, from the street markets to the food stalls. You’ll sample classic Khmer dishes, exotic fruits, and Cambodian BBQ amongst the locals.

Day 2

This morning, you’ll begin your discovery of the magical and mysterious temples and ruins of the Angkor Complex! Your tour will have a bit of a twist as you’ll ride in the sidecar of a traditional ‘tuk tuk’ which will take you to some of the hidden gems that the crowds don’t go.

You’ll first visit Angkor Thom, the last capital of the great Khmer Empire. There you’ll discover the sprawling Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper, and the archaeological wonder and symmetrical miracle of Bayon Temple. You’ll conclude your morning exploration in the jungle labyrinth of Ta Prohm, a ruin whose hallways are enveloped by roots and limbs of banyan trees.

After a local lunch, you’ll head back to the complex and do a deep dive exploration of Angkor Wat. Each corner of the Angkor Wat tells its own story and your local guide will teach you about the temple’s mystery and mysticism.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will leave the city behind and head for the foothills of Kulen Mountain where you’ll pay a visit to the resident giants of Kulen Elephant Sanctuary.

The 22 elephants at Kulen Elephant Sanctuary are all rescued and retired elephants from the logging and tourism industry. In the sanctuary, they can finally roam free and unburdened. Enjoy a morning stroll into the forest with them as you take in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

After having a local lunch in the jungle, you’ll head back to Siem Reap where you’ll have the afternoon at leisure. If you choose to treat yourself, there will be an optional Spa and Massage at Kaya Spa.

Day 4

Today you’ll wave goodbye to the ancient world of Siem Reap and Angkor and say hello to island life. After a transfer to the Siem Reap airport you’ll take a one-way domestic flight (included) to Sihanoukville, the gateway to Koh Rong.

Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, you’ll transfer to the pier and hop aboard a boat to head for the islands. The rest of the day is yours to sink your toes in the sand, swim in the crystal clear turquoise water, and quench your thirst as you crack open a coconut.

Day 5

In the morning, you’ll begin your island hopping adventure! Your boat will anchor on deserted untouched islands for you to explore.

You’ll also get familiar with the local wildlife on a snorkeling trip around the island! This is the best way to see some of the wonderful miniature ecosystems, coral, seahorses, and nudibranchs that are abundant on the islands. Keep an eye out for Nemos!

On the way back, you’ll visit floating villages and eco-communities where you’ll also have a beach picnic lunch prepared.

The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the sun.

Day 6

Today is a day of leisure, relaxation, and island vibes. You’ll have the full day to chill on the beach or if you’re feeling up for some adventure, there will be an option to join a Discovery Scuba Dive, all levels welcome!

Day 7

On your last full day in Cambodia, you’ll transfer back to the mainland via boat and then head to the capital, Phnom Penh.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, you’ll have time to do some last minute shopping before heading back and freshening up for the final farewell dinner. Enjoy one last meal together as you toast to the extraordinary adventure and new friendships formed!

Day 8

All good things must come to an end, but only until our next adventure! You will be transferred to Phnom Penh International (PNH) to wave a final farewell to your travel crew and Cambodia.
