Your speedboat will take you from the peninsula to Cayo Levantado, just 3 miles from the bay. This charming little island, with its white sand, clear blue water and lush vegetation became known as Bacardi Island in the 80s after it was used as the setting for the Bacardi Rum commercial.
Enjoy a guided tour through the colorful town of Samaná, on the Samaná Peninsula. Not only known for its beautiful beaches, Samaná is also the main whale-watching destination. During the winter months (January to March), thousands of humpback whales migrate to the peninsula and can be spotted from the whale-watching boat tours or from the beaches.

Ready for some adventure? It's time to get outside and explore the sights and sounds that make the Dominican Republic more than just a beach vacation.

This towering 130 foot waterfall is surrounded by dense, tropical forest. Your choice of hiking or riding on horseback will take you down the 1.5 mile hilly terrain to the magnificent waterfall below. Once there, cool off with a swim in the clear, natural, freshwater pool.
Las Terrenas, in the province of Samaná, is a perfect blend of picturesque scenery and pure white beaches, protected by coral reefs and clear blue waters. The town itself has a large and varied shopping center, including palm thatched shopping malls, colorful little street markets selling local crafts and lively bars and restaurants.
Sip on a Cubra Libre cocktail (included) and learn the Bachata dance. Bachata is a traditional dance and music genre that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 60s. Dance the night away to the rhythm of the Caribbean in your tropical paradise.

It’s your last day in paradise! Relax and enjoy some leisure time at the hotel, or if you want more adventure, sign up for the Fronton, Playita and Rincon beaches tour!

A local chef will teach you how to make a selection of popular Dominican dishes, which may include Tostones (twice fried plantains); rice, red beans and salad; fish dishes using coconut sauce and many more Caribbean delights!
It’s your last day in paradise! If you’re ready for more adventure, sign up for the optional beaches tour. Fronton, Playita and Rincon are three secluded beaches, with fine white sands, coconut palms and rugged cliffs. The surrounding turquoise waters are among the most beautiful in the world. These beaches are popular areas for snorkeling the coral reefs and swimming with the bright colored tropical fish. Playa Rincon is on an unspoiled area of the coast with a 3 mile stretch of beach. The breathtaking views and tropical vegetation make it one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant is included.
